Our Boat

Polaris 1 has sleeping quarters for 8 people in comfortable bunk beds in 4 separate 2-person cabins.

The ship has a sauna, shower, and toilet (another one is planned). The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, fridge, oven, stove, and all necessary small appliances and cutlery. At the moment we are rebuilding the interior so you can see the floor plan in the gallery below.

Our boat runs on renewable HVO diesel from St1, which is, for now, the cleanest possible way for us to operate. Our heating system and water heater from company Wallas have been optimized for renewable diesel. We are also constantly looking for ways to decrease our carbon footprint. Electricity and hot water are produced while boating and six two-sided solar panels also help load the batteries even when the engine is not running.

All the cleaning detergents and soaps are 100% biodegradable and the ones that are not for example in the dishwasher will be collected and taken to wastewater handling. All the garbage is sorted for recycling. We leave no waste behind.

Onboard we always have 4 kayaks, 4 SUP boards, and all kinds of fishing gear. More info about our tours is here.
